5 quills! I guess that says it all!

My name’s Dot, and yes, I am a real person and I love to read. I like to read good books over and over, and I’m reading this one for the sixteenth time. Let me warn you. Never ever pick up and start this book at night! I did and I was up until 1:30 a.m. reading it!

It’s one of the best books I’ve ever read because it’s fast moving, doesn’t get bogged down in the middle like most books, and leaves you wanting more. The book is written for teens but any adult could enjoy it.

The story centers around Max. She’s 98% human and 2% bird and she can fly. The rest of her flock are Fang, Angel, Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy, and they all have wings, too.

The Erasers are another deal altogether. These wolfmen work for the school and are constantly trying to take a bite out of the flock. If I told you any more than that, it would spoil the story.

If this hasn’t totally convinced you that you need to get this book, then check out the Flock’s website and blog at www.maximumride.com

You NEED this book!

A message from Max:

“Congratulations. The fact that you’re reading this means you’ve taken a giant step closer to surviving till your next birthday. Yes, you ...keep reading – don’t let anyone stop you.”

From Mike Tyrrel, FWOMP author and Dot’s father:
Dot is my eldest daughter’s nickname, but she was born Elizabeth Lynn. She and her younger sister, Katy, are in several of my stories in the Monterey Shorts anthologies. Since writing this review, Dot has read Maximum Ride  three more times. Katy, too, has read it …fourteen times. They never seem to tire of it, which makes me wonder if I’ll have to buy my own copy.
